Hi, and welcome to my website! I am a scientist living in The Netherlands. From origin an astronomer, working on the formation and evolution of star clusters in spiral galaxies, I recently moved to the field of space-based atmospheric research. I am also a big outdoor enthousiast. I enjoy hiking, mountain-biking, traveling, swimming, extreme weather and photography. Actually I am also a bit of gear junkie I am afraid... With photography I focus on astronomy, weather and celestial events, as well as all my other encounters with nature during my travels.

The good thing of being a scientist is that you can travel the world a lot. On this website I like to share with you some of the results from my adventures with nature.
