BLABLACRACY: The rule of the lengthy and untransparent argument.

To be used in contrast with "Democracy", "Aristocracy",
"Oligarchy", "Matriarchy", "Plutocracy" and so on. In a form of
government that in principle was intended to be democratic, one
often finds rules and laws becoming increasingly complex. Rather
than replacing old laws by updated ones, politicians find it
easier to just add the updated versions to the old laws. This
way, rules, laws and regulations quickly become difficult to
handle, and indeed easier to use for manipulators. The public,
bored and disinterested in the unnecessary details, can only
react by accepting the complicated arguments, even if they seem
to be at odds with their real sense of justice. People are tempted
to believe that the longest arguments, though ununderstandable,
are more likely to be correct than the ones that end too quickly.
